My toddler wants to nurse again...
My 22 month old has been completely weaned for a few months now. Just the weekend he has started to sign "milk" to me and reaching for my shirt. He weaned himself, has he now changed his mind? I couldn't get him to calm down last night after he woke in the middle of the night so I reluctantly let him nurse. I am pretty sure I have no milk. If I let him continue to nurse will it come back or should I not even let him start again? My other two never did this, when they were done... They were done. Should I just keep the "girls" away or do I let him nurse??

I don't know.. My DD is 22 months and nurses all the time. If you're ok with it I would probably let him. Not sure if your milk would come back though. Im guessing it would though, being it's hormonal.
Have there been any changed at home-- perhaps he's looking for comfort in a familiar way?

No changes other then being busy getting ready for school to start. He has been very cranky the past week and is cutting all his I-teeth. Maybe he is looking for comfort.
