Re: Anyone use the bucket tubs? tummytub..ect

our pp nurse and ped both said they can have a fully emmersed bath before cord falls off.

love those things however dd would have only fit in it for a few months. We just used the kitchen sink as our tub, until she was big enough for the reg tub

haha I love that. Ours has also been repurposed, but for out-of-season shoe storage instead.

Re: Anyone use the bucket tubs? tummytub..ect

I have the prince lionheart one. I didn't like it nearly as much as I thought I would. It was too deep and too hard to handle a slippery little baby. The tummy tub looks much better, especially the picture above with the baby with the towel in the tub underneath.

I ended up using mine exclusively for washing longies/woolies in. Now it's at my parents' waiting for me to clean it so I can take it to the consignment shop.

I hate baby bathtubs. I always buy one, and always end up hating them. With my son, we ended up laying a towel in the bottom of the kitchen sink and giving him his baths there until he was big enough to sit in the bottom of the shower while I showered. That's what I plan on doing again with my next one.

I'm interested in what people have to say about these, because I don't see how they are different than a big bucket (which would be way cheaper)?

The tummy tub looks like a giant plastic mixing bowl.

Hmmm, we have one of those industrial grade mixers at work, maybe I should just ask my boss if I can borrow the bowl?
