After having a huge panic attack opening the package up, I'm so relieved that I heard my little one's nice strong HB in there, and lots of thumping around. WHEW! Thank GOD! I bursted into tears after, just from relief! I realllly wish I would have gotten one in the very beginning, sure would have saved a lot of sleepless nights. I'm happy I can go on without having negative thoughts of "baby's not alive", and just enjoy his/her presence instead.

Anways, just had to share my excitement, I know it's small, but it's major for me!!

yes I agree a doppler is needed to ease our minds. I am so glad yours got there safely, now you can enjoy the baby's hb anytime you want.

This is the first time I've had one and it's really nice! Glad you received yours and found the HB easily! So reassuring when your worried!

My retired midwife (helped deliver dd) lent me hers until my current midwife is back in town because I was so scared that baby was not ok. I hadn't felt baby move in over a week!

Oh that was really nice of her, Shannon! I'm on the same boat, I haven't felt any for sure movements in well over a week now, I thought for sure something was wrong. I HEAR this baby kicking/thumping around on the doppler like crazy in there, so strange that I'm not feeling it very much.

It is funny to hear the baby kick the doppler, the thumping sounds funny to me..lol
