Re: wool or fleece??

I've never tried wool, but I like fleece. It's cheap and low maintenance.

Re: wool or fleece??

I've done both. I like wool because it's natural, but I actually prefer fleece. I can get it cheap, make lots of cute covers, and LOTS more of them. And with fleece I don't have to do special washing. Just throw it in with my diapers and clean it every other day. I only have three right now, but I'm going to make more and maybe some cute longies. Have fun deciding what you are going to do!

I started out with one fleece cover and am just now branching into wool. I like the idea of a natural fiber that breathes while also absorbing some of the liquid - the unique properties of wool are just fascinating, and the stretchiness attracted me (my fleece has zero stretch). I figure that it is pricier but will retain it's resale value, and wool care isn't that bad... just different.

Re: wool or fleece??

I like wool! Fleece always ends up looking like crap after a few washes. I have some knit wool and some recycled wool sweater covers- which are just as cheap to make as fleece covers. It's waterproof and easy to take care of since they don't have to be washed every time.

i like the natural aspect of wool, and how well it breathes, but i like the ease of washing the fleece and the price of the fleece. i think i'm mostly concerned about the care of wool. this is hard. haha.
