Cloth Friendly Day Care

Hey Mamas! I recently quit teaching to stay home with my little dude, and I have just opened my own day care. I had a rough go finding a provider who was comfortable using cloth and I want to get the word out there that I am happy (in fact prefer) to use cloth. Any advice on the best places to "advertise" so that I can appeal to cloth users?

Thanks!

Natural parenting groups local to you, maybe LLL groups, cloth diaper shops, even check into local diaper services, they might be able to send people to you as well.

I'd try the yahoo groups, Craig's List and some of those places.

Re: Cloth Friendly Day Care

When I was looking to watch another infant a few months after my son's arrival, I just posted in CraigsList. My title was just something like, "Infant Position. Breastmilk and cloth diaper friendly!". I stated a little bit about what parenting methods we were using and what I'd be comfortable with (such as, don't believe in CIO and that we bf/cd and were open, etc...).

If there are natural baby stores in your area, you could see if they'd let you post something on their bulletin board.

Hmmm, around here that would get the interest of at least one mom (myself). We have a breastfeeding support group that our hospital sponsors. The ladies that run that see tons of the newborns in the area. What about daycares that definitely will not use cloth, they could refer moms to you???

I agree with local CD businesses/services, and LLL.
