night time dipe question

ok..DS seems to have not the best reaction to stay dry. Soo can I go without stay dry liner all night and it be ok?? Or should I just try where I only use stay dry at night and see how that goes?

Re: night time dipe question

There seem to be a lot of people who don't use stay dry at night, I'm not brave enough to try it. You totally can if your LO doesn't mind it (or have a reaction to the wetness). I do it more b/c my dd HATES and I do mean HATES being wet, so I keep her as dry as possible. As in, during the day, as soon as she wets, she turns into a crying screaming hot mess if I don't change her right away.
Even with ds, who is WAY more laid back in general, I always used stay dry for nights/naps. I found that he would wake up earlier (although not upset, just awake earlier than I wanted!) if he was not in stay dry.
I also found that microfleece liners/inners did not cause as much irritation as suedecloth; but at the same time the suedecloth keeps the skin much drier (and baby ASLEEP), so it's kind of a toss up. I choose to use some CJ's at bedtime and use suedecloth, b/c I like my sleep.

great stuff but the cost may put you off

Try procool or other athletic jersey before investing in raw silk.

Re: night time dipe question

Which stay dry fabric seems to be irritating? If suedecloth is irritating, maybe try fleece instead before ruling out stay dry all together.

I've actually only used fleece. I tried BGs for a very short while..but quickly realized I didn't like pockets I don't remember him having a reaction now that I think about it but I used them for such a short time..hard to be sure..lol

If you can sew you can buy a yard of raw silk for pretty cheap and make your own. Dharma trading has it for like $5 a yard I think
