Bestbottoms - Aplix or snaps?

I'm looking into getting a set of Bestbottoms to try out, and I'm wondering if I should go for the snaps or the aplix. I have aplix on my Thirsties, and I really like how easy they are to fit on my newborn. I find that I fumble a bit with the FB snaps when I'm doing night changes, but the bestbottoms don't seem to have as many snaps to figure out. Which do you prefer?

Re: Bestbottoms - Aplix or snaps?

I bought the snaps for a few reasons..
1) No diaper chains I was jsut getting tired of those
2) slows my toddler down just a bit she can still get these off but isn't as tempted to try no cool riiipp sounds
3) a review I saw (you tube) comparing both talked about the stiffness of the velcro which I know would be an issue with my thinner bellied LO so I went for the snaps. I LOVE mine so no complaints.

For me I prefer aplix, I have not personally tried the bestbottoms out but I have seen them in a store here locally and they are super cute and look great. Id just go with whatever is easiest for you, esp if you have a newborn! Maybe down the road you can get a set of snap if you like them. That would prob be the time that your lo could un do the velcro HTH!!

I had both and had issues with both. The velcro was really stiff and scratched my guy's belly. The snaps didn't have as good a range on fit. If I were to buy them again I would probably stick with the snaps, scratchy velcro is just not ok IMO. It is super string though, and I never got diaper chains with it.

Snaps. I agree with the other moms--the aplix is too stiff on the front and I find that the snaps have a pretty good fit range.

Snaps - the aplix on these is super scratchy and stiff. It left red marks on LOs tummy. I love the single row snaps though - super easy to use.
