Questions about prepping inserts
I feel like all of the questions I have are pretty dumb but I don't want to mess anything up. I got a few new hemp inserts and a Bum Genius Elemental diaper, which I believe is organic cotton. How should I prep these? All of my other diapers are microfiber or are used so I haven't had to do this before. I found a few different methods but I'm not sure what is the best way. Also, when people say to wash or boil something multiple times, should I be drying or waiting a certain amount of time between washes? Thanks!!

I just boiled once and then threw them in the washer for a hot wash or two.
I would put the cotton diapers in for a hot wash while I boiled the hemp. Then do another couple of hot washes with them both. Someone else might have a better idea though. :-)

Re: Questions about prepping inserts
How long do you boil them? Also, should I dry them between boiling and washing and between washes? Thanks!

I don't know about the drying between boiling. I boiled for 10-20 mins and then put them right into the washer for a hot wash. Then I dried them and washed hot again.
When I only use hot washes and don't boil, I wash and dry each time.
