If you had an anatomy scan...

Did the baby measure on track with your EDD by your LMP?
If there was a difference did the baby come closer to the u/s date or the first EDD you had?

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

Nope. My baby was consistently one week behind the EDD based on my LMP all the way through my pregnancy. My doc concluded that I must have ovulated a week later than normal. She was perfectly healthy though. She was born (actually I was induced) 3 days after my adjusted due date.

Mine is measuring a week ahead and my fundal height is 1-2 weeks ahead...I would be so happy if she came on her EDD!

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

My first two measured about 3 weeks behind LMP when they did growth scans at 20 weeks...with DS they actually moved my due date back three weeks despite me telling them that I KNEW when I ovulated & conceived...when he was born, doc said "umm, yeah, we never should have moved your due date back at all" and they considered him born at 42w6d. DS was 8lbs8oz, but had practically no fluid and the placenta was showing signs of calcification. When the dates didn't line up with my second child, they just said we'd watch it but never changed the due date. She was 7lbs 15 oz born on the original due date (40 weeks exactly). With this new baby, the 20week scan had baby right on track (but on the larger end of it) for LMP/EDD with no changes to date, but I've been consistently measuring 2-3 weeks ahead since about 28 weeks, we're thinking its just a combo of big baby and lots of fluid though, if I'm still measuring ahead at 36 -37 weeks we're doing another scan to get a better idea of size & fluid levels.

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

DS always measured right on, and he was a C/S at 41 weeks. This baby has consistently measured a week behind from LMP, but I believe it's very possible that I ovulated late, since I was still nursing and it was my first PP cycle.

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

This time around---

I had my first u/s at 12 weeks and the baby measured 1 day ahead of what my DD would be based on LMP.

I had my anatomy scan at 21 weeks and the baby measured 1 week ahead of my DD based on LMP.

Now at 29 weeks my fundus is measuring 2-3cms ahead.

I've had similar things happen in my last two pregnancies, one of which resulted in a full term (40w2d) baby that weighed 10lbs14oz and one that resulted in a preemie due to premature rupture of membranes (34w4d) baby that weighed 5lbs13oz (and most likely would've been 9-10lbs had he made it to full term).

I have a feeling this time I will go somewhere between 39-40w.

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

From what I remember, at my anatomy scan my daughter was measuring ahead by a few weeks, but my fundal height always measured behind several weeks, and she was less than 7 pounds at birth, so I don't put a lot of stock in ultrasound measurements, personally.

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

Hmm...with my oldest she measured a little big in the us and by fundal height she was always a few weeks ahead in the last few months. She came 8 days late. My second measured a week behind in the us and measured ahead by a week or so in the end. She came four days late. This baby has measured right on track in both us and fundal height. If that means she will come right on her due date I am good with that! We will see.

Re: If you had an anatomy scan...

With my first I was due 1/23 and they changed my due date to 2/2 based on her measurements from the anatomy scan. She ended up being born on 1/18 lol
