Questions on cycles...
Ok. I admit we've never had to "try" to get PG. It always just happens. Even when we arent trying.
But now im getting curious as to how it would work if we had to watch a calendar. Ive been charting my cycle. It seems that since dd was born (cycle returned to normal at about 10 mos now shes 13 mos) my length of cycle is only 23-24 days. Is that normal? And Im looking up ovulation calendars and they keep talking about the luteal phase. I dont even know what that is or how to figure it out Can any mommas give me a quickie lesson here...

Re: Questions on cycles...
I'm new to charting as well, but I've heard "Taking Charge of your Fertility" is a great book about charting, natural family planning and understanding your cycle.

Re: Questions on cycles...
your luteal phase is the length between ovulation and when AF arrives.. according to FF I was O at about day 16 and then AF showed around 28 so I would have a LP of about 11 days.. anyting between 11-15 or so is considered Normal and I think anything under 10 you may want to talk to your OB about. HTH!
