Hyena Cart feedback question *UPDATE*

UPDATE-I contacted the seller again on 9/13 as I still hadnt received the package. She told me she had her husband mail it a couple of days after our last email (8/27) and would get back to me. Never heard anything so I contacted her again this morning telling her she had 24 hours to prove it was shipped or I was filing a claim. She answered back that she just found it in her husbands truck and mailed it today. It will be over a month since I bought this (8/17) by the time I get it, should I leave negative feedback?



I bought an item off of a store on Hyena cart on August 17th. On August 27th the seller contacts me and tells me she never saw my order as she doesnt have a lot of access to the email connected to her shop. What feedback should I leave? I think you can only leave positive or negative but I would want others to know about this.

that is very strange. Sometimes Hyenacart is slow sending the emails but she would have at least gotten the paypal payment notice. If it's going to an email address she rarely checks then that is very bad on her part.

well i dont think its the greatest CS on her part to rarely check her business email. I wouldnt leave FB until you receive the items and then decide. If it were me and I was happy with the items once i received them i would leave positive but make a note of the issue in my feedback

You can leave separate notes in the feedback for customer service and for quality of the product, so I would wait until you get the item and then leave feedback (positive if the item is to your satisfaction) but mention the lack of communication in the customer service section of the feedback.

Thanks everyone. I was definitely going to wait until I received the item before I left feedback. I'll definitely make a note in the customer service section.

What a mess! Please do mention the spotty communication and majorly delayed shipping when you leave feedback. That is something I and other potential buyers would want to know.

Maybe it's just me, but I would think after that long of a wait, she should have asked you if you even still wanted the item or not before shipping it out.

Also, keep a close eye on the calendar. If you don't have them in your hand on day 44 I would file with PP so you are protected by the 45-day rule. You don't have to escalate it right away and you can always close it when the item gets to you safe and sound, but don't risk missing the 45-day window. You never really know if it was shipped this time, since it's supposedly been shipped before.
