labor symptoms but no baby

I'm talking about 4 days with on and off contractions, mucus plug, bloody show and no baby! Anyone else had this? I mean it was soo real the first night we even filled up the pool. I want to see my baby already.

Re: labor symptoms but no baby

I've lost my plug up to 2 weeks before the real thing. With my fourth I had regular contractions every day starting at 2 and 10 for about 10 days! Ugh! Labor is so hard to figure out. Every one of my 5 have been different. Hang in there! You won't be pregnant forever!

All that activity is doing something, mama! Like PP said, you'll probably go fast once it happens. Good luck!!!

I had the same thing with DS for almost 2 weeks before my EDD, he was born at 41 weeks via C/S. Hope your LO makes an appearance soon!

I, also, get labor-like for a week or two before the actual arrival. I try to look at it as a good thing because I think my body does lots of prep and then I have quick labors.

I'm in the same boat, had contractions 12 minutes apart lasting about a minute and a half each 2 weeks ago on Sunday. Lost my plug and everything last week. Since then I've been having regular contractions, had them 6 minutes apart for 4 hours one night. I was so sore the next day. Yet here I sit, still pregnant. I told dh yesterday that I'm worried that I won't know when it's "real"

I hope it's a good kind of anxious! I loved my homebirth, and should I be fortunate enough to have any other kids, they'll be born at home.

My midwife's labor lasted probably a couple weeks in total. You won't be pregnant forever. It has to come out somehow.

Enjoy!
