Blessed with Children Struggling for More, Week of Aug. 29th

This thread is for women that have children and are either dealing with secondary infertility or have had children after dealing with primary infertility and know that treatment is the only way they will have more children. We also have women that due to either prior losses, or infertility don't feel like they should join a due date board till after the first trimester (12 weeks).

Please note: When your information needs to be updated, please highlight the area that needs to be updated. This will make it easier for me to update you.

Re: Blessed with Children Struggling for More, Week of Aug. 29th

I hope this is your month Lucy! :-)

Nothing exciting here. Hot flashes from the femara last night but nothing else so far. Also could have been the sick child laying next to me. DD came down with a 103 fever last night! So we are hanging out at home today. I'm just hoping hoping hoping neither DH or I gets this, right in time for our flight to Indiana!

Sarah - I too love internet test strips. We are big on budgeting everything and I have been known to include them as a line item

Lucy - So glad things are looking positive this month! I hope you get great news soon and your 2WW goes quickly!

AFM- Just waiting on Af so I can call for my cycle day three bloodwork. I hope Af doesn't come for a few days, though my pms is really rotten this month. I did the other bloodwork this morning and I am just not sure I have much blood left to hand over. Oh my that was a ton of test tubes!

Lucy, fingers crossed for you! We're cycle buddies this time around -- I'm O'ing today, too. Right now, if the ovulation pain is any indication, but DH is taking a nap to recuperate right this minute We'll give it one more try after the kids are down tonight.

Add my vote for internet test strips, too. I got some bad ones in my next-to-most-recent batch, but I'm back to the good ones now. I can't imagine buying store tests again except in a pinch.

Heather, could I get an update, when convenient? Thanks

Cindy - hope your DD is feeling better! And that no one else gets it. My DS had a weird sudden fever of 103.5 this weekend.

Silly - I remember getting my diagnostic bloodwork taken. I thought they were never going to stop. Hope AF cooperates on timing!

Ardenne - yay for cycle buddies! I'll be attacking DH today as well. How long is your normal LP?

AFM - Thanks for all the good vibes and prayers mamas. All the stars are aligned, so the rest is in His hands!

Good question I'm really not quite sure what normal is right now, because my cycles have been all over the place since our last loss. It used to be 13 or 14 days, pretty reliably, but since our last miscarriage it's hit everywhere from 10 days to 16. So I guess I just have to wait and see what happens this time around. What's normal for you?

It's taking forever to get a chance to bd. I'm hoping 8 hrs post-o isn't too late.

Cindy, I hope your daughter feels better soon!

I'm a pretty standard 13 days with a 30 day cycle. It's almost clockwork actually (which I used to hate before TTC).

Have you BD before O? Regardless, I can't remember how long the egg survives after dropping, but I think you're safe.
