Now I have a bug bite on my leg and I'm having an allergic reaction to it, so I need to take Benadryl. It went from quarter size to 5 inches across in every direction.

Needless to say, not fun. And the tiredness was already getting to me.

I've been getting lots of bug bites lately, they must like pregnancy blood. Such a big bite sounds like possibly a spider bite? Has it gotten better?

It's possibly a spider bite but they have no idea what it is.

I'm thinking I got it out on a lake so probably fly.

But, the Benadryl is helping and making it white instead of red, we will see what happens tomorrow.

They also gave me antibiotics to ward off infections

It could have been a horse or dear fly. Those bites get nasty. Though, if that's what bit you, you would know it becuase it hurts worse then getting stung by a bee.

During the time when I think I got bitten, I was too busy trying to keep my five children from tipping the canoe so not necessarily.

My twin is allergic to black flies but as far as we know, there aren't any in GA.

I wish I could say I was.

Now it looks like a bug bite with a TON of bruising but the swelling is going down.

So it itches and the Benadryl is kicking me to the curb, lol.
