Turn your favorite T-shirt into diaper?

I have been sewing diapers for my ds lately and playing around with materials (fleece, flannel, poly velour, cotton t-shirts) & making adjustments to RRP: turning it into a fitted, adding velco or snaps.

My mom & I are talking about starting a WAHM business & I think there could be a lot of interest in "turn your old favorite t-shirt into you new favorite diaper"

So what do you think? Is this something that interests you? Would you prefer fitteds, aio, or pocket? Should we offer various types of diapers or just one?

What type of inner material would you like? OCV, OBV, poly velour, micro-fleece, suede-cloth?

What type of absorbent material do you like?

What type of closure? Aplix, snaps, snapiable?

Elastic along the back? What about elastic along the front?

Do you like turned & top-stitched or serged?

How would you go about setting up testers?

Here are some example that I have made:

Made with t-shirt, no closure

This is flannel, but shows snaps- which I think I will add a third snap.

This shows the poly velour inner. I find poly velour feels dryer than OBV or OCV.

Thanks for you input!

I would be more interested in fitteds personally but I would say various types so you would hit more mamas.
What type of inner material would you like? OCV, OBV, poly velour, micro-fleece, suede-cloth?
I prefer OBV
What type of absorbent material do you like?
I prefer bamboo fleece.
What type of closure? Aplix, snaps, snapiable?
Snaps!! Two snaps to hold the soaker in...I'm really picky about that.
Elastic along the back? What about elastic along the front?
Back...never had it in the front.
Do you like turned & top-stitched or serged?
I actually like both but I like T&T better in the legs.
How would you go about setting up testers?
In the testers section!!

Re: Turn your favorite T-shirt into diaper?

The only reply i have is that fitteds would appeal to me more. Im trying to figure out how to do this, for my son, not to sell. I'm sure there would be people interested in them! Personally I havn't tried any diapers with snaps, I prefer velcro bc I don't want to fight to snap the snaps. Velcro seems much easier on a figety mover fighting me. I will be a tester as well, lol!
