Ladies I am quickly running out of ideas of things to feed my daughter, harleigh. She is 14 1/2 months and has 10ish teeth. I say 10ish because a couple are still little nubs.
I want to give her things that are healthy but things she will like as well. I am begging you for ideas! I appreciate all the input! |

Re: Running out of ideas!
Little kids can eat pretty much anything that we do, if it's small and soft enough. When my kiddos were little, here is a bunch of stuff they loved: pasta, chicken, turkey, cheese, beans, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, raspberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, rice, quiona, ground beef, quesadillas, grilled cheese, crackers, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, steamed carrots, steamed broccoli, steamed cauilflower, mashed potatoes, steamed squash or zuchini, mini muffins, beets, green beans, cheerios; etc. So as you can see, pretty much anything.
Just steam it, cut it up and watch your LO to make sure she doesn;t shove too much in her mouth and choke.

At that age my DS ate whatever we were eating, just cut very small or mashed up, unless he was allergic.

My daughter's favorite at that age was diced avocado. We also fed her all sorts of veggies, cut in small bites, fruits cut the same, strips of bread or toast, noodles/pasta/potatoes, and meat just cut fine.

Re: Running out of ideas!
I generally give her what we are eating, but most of the time I don't eat when she eats. And she is so picky. And it has gotten to the point she will only eat if it comes off your plate and you are eating it too. I feel like the minute I put her in the high chair she becomes difficult. If I give her something when she is crawling around she will eat it with out an issue. Maybe I should get a new high chair lol.
