Re: Is it ok to dress sexy when pregnant?(for wedding)

i think it's very classic. When you said super sexy I was thinking uber short and showing a ton of cleavage. I like the dress a lot!

I think it looks classy and as for black at a wedding, I don't know if it's just where I am from or the trend, but most women were black dresses or at least have black in them.

If you feel comfortable in it then go for it.

I think it's beautiful and would totally wear it. I don't think it's inappropriate at all.

That is an adorable dress! I don't even think it is overly sexy at all! I am sure you will look beautiful whatever you decide!

Yea this! (Right down to the age, though short of being 65 and 6.5 months pregnant I can't see a problem with it).

Go and have fun!

Re: Is it ok to dress sexy when pregnant?(for wedding)

Aw, thanks ladies, feel a little more confident now. As mentioned it's a little clingy - er on me as in hugs the butt a bit more. Not like it's super short or cleavage though as mentioned.

DH would have no problem with it.

As for black for wedding - when I first moved to this country I was shocked that so many people wore black to a wedding. But it's 100% normal here. In fact I bet 80% of my friends will wear black so I'm kinda over that by now. I once saw white though and that was a eeeeekkkkkk.....

I always say best thing about being pg at events is that you at least don't have to suck it in and can eat all around you without worrying about your gut

Oh....also meant to add that the reason I'm a bit iffy is because it reminds me of the Tina Fey, Saturday Night live skit where she and Maya Rudolph are pg, in black dresses(clingy/not short though etc) and they do this hilarious dance and song. Also slightly disturbing with babies singing along via US. Just something wrong about bumping and grinding pregnant

I think it's nice! I was thinking about the black aspect of it but if that's normal for you (or it's an evening wedding) than go for it!!

I thunk it's pretty. Maybe you could lighten it up with colorful accessories, or a white sash? Pr if black is okay in your circles then just wear it. Very pretty.

I have a pink, really cute clutch to liven it up and I was thinking if I can find it cheaply a pink brooch on the black sash. Otherwise I have a faux diamond type one from a sweater. Might even see if I can get a pink/black bracelet. So black with hits of pink(dark pink/hot pink).

I thought the lace might be itchy, but it's just like wearing a t-shirt dress!
