Anyone with ideas for progesterone upping?

My progesterone went from 18.5 on the 22nd to 14.1 on the 31st and they haven't prescribed me anything!

I'm already taking 12 pills of Wild Yam and progesterone cream twice daily.

I don't know how I'm going to keep this pregnancy if my progesterone keeps going down.

Can you just straight up ask for the prometrium? I just got my first progesterone level back and it was only 11.8, pretty bummed over here too.

Re: Anyone with ideas for progesterone upping?

I asked, they said no. They won't retest my progesterone and they won't give for anything until it is under 7.

I'm calling my OB on Tuesday and begging for it. But that is a long time to wait with it going down .5 a day.

I pretty much absolutely have to get it on Tuesday or the baby might be lost.

Re: Anyone with ideas for progesterone upping?

Mine was at 6.8 with my last pregnancy. I did end up on progesterone suppositories and she is now a healthy 9.5 month old. There is a lot of conflicting info on if it actually works though. I have no idea. Many hugs to you!

Do you have to see that doctor?? I'm sorry, but that is just nuts!!! 20 is considered low... 7 is losing a baby scary low.

I think I would consider switching... even if it's just temporary to get in with somebody who will prescribe progesterone!

For now yes, but I'm putting in a call to my OB on Tuesday.

My OB can't see me until September 27th so my Gyn is doing bloodwork and confirming a heartbeat and then transferring care to the OB
