I'm really hoping to pick up some stuff in the consignment sale that's in October. I plan on hitting up Motherhood Maternity as well, the sale racks mostly. Don't mind spending some money on a nice coat, but just t-shirts and stuff can be on clearance.

AHHHHHHHH!! My favorite consignment shop has stopped carrying maternity clothes and items! Granted I can bring in the boys clothes there for cash or credit, but really wanted to get a PG band!! Guess I will go through the boys stuff more to see what has to go and what is staying. Then I will see if Quinn needs anymore winter items.

Re: Pregnancy Attire

This is my 4th and I finally bought a belly band today! I figure it will be worth it since I can wear it after while I'm waiting for everything to fit again.

My last pregnancy I used my citi card points and got $100 to old navy and I ordered some clothes there. So that was a good way to get a free update to my maternity wardrobe. But that one I really needed to add since it was my first pregnancy needing winter clothes.

But most of my clothes have come from the Target clearance rack! I love it. I find maternity shirts $2.50 - $5 a piece all the time. Then sometimes $6 pants. They seem to switch their maternity out fairly often b/c I'm always coming across stuff.

Re: Pregnancy Attire

With my first pregnancy, I looked awful. I had uniform for school (scrubs) and didn't work but on weekends (wore scrubs again), and only bought 1 pair of maternity capris and 1 tank top/sleeveless at a garage sale. Other than that, I wore stretch pants or DH's huge tshirts. I looked awful. But, I didn't have the money to spend on maternity clothing.

This time, I'm allotting myself $100 to spend to buy myself some clothing. I have no clue where to even look to get the most for my money though. Locally we have a mall with JCPennys and we also have a Khols. That's about it, without driving over an hour.

Go to Kohls when they are doing some great sale and giving away Kohls cash for spending so much. Then you'll definitely get more for your money.

Me too. But my big fleece hoodie will work for when it is cold around here. I may get my self a few shirts through.

Re: Pregnancy Attire

I got a good majority of my maternity clothes off Kijiji/Craigslist, and then would stalk the sales racks when I was in town.

And, I lived in yoga pants.

Re: Pregnancy Attire

Found 2 pairs of maternity pants (GAP) at Goodwill! Thank goodness!!!!! what a FIND! Most of them are not very fashionable and have the full belly band on them, but today I actually found nice ones, and the right size! I don't NEEED them yet, but now its nice to know I've got some. I can still fit into my size 8 pants, and because I just recently lost a lot of weight, I have up to size 12, but I'm sure I'll make the switch to comfy mat pants soon now that I've got them!!!
