Tide and rinsing-your experience

So I have Tide Ultra (thought it was original when I ordered it) and I REALLY want it to work. The diapers look awesome clean and that would be great I could use it on clothes as well. My only issue is the rinsing. We have a FLer and average water and even after using only 1 TBSP I am having to rinse more than usual.
Will a few suds left hurt anything? Also how many rinse cycles are you doing w/ this detergent?
TIA

I would keep rinsing until all the bubbles are gone. Any left over residue on your diapers will cause stink issues.

I was doing two extra rinses after the first wash/rinse.

Re: Tide and rinsing-your experience

Honestluy I dont overly obsess over bubbles.. I know it takes me two cycles to rinse out my detrgent on a normal basis caues I always do one experiment to see... So I do that but I dont worry if its doing it EVERY single time. I disagree that soap build up leads to stink never ever have had a stink issue but over the years I have delt with various degrees of build up (form ANY detergent) I do notice an increase in rashes from not rising enough so if those start to creep in more I add a few extra rinses or a quick strip on the next cycle.

As for tide no experience with the ultra but I ussually needed around 3-4 cycles to rinse with the old style.

I agree- I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you are having other issues.

Like a pp said, I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having stink or rash issues. My LO always gets a rash when we have Tide buildup.

Re: Tide and rinsing-your experience

also how are you adding rinses? Just turning to rinse or doing a full cycle I do a short wash with detergent followed by a long hot wash nothing with added extra rinses to rinse it all.
