It will get better. My LO was nursing so frequently that I'd end up just exhausted and feeling defeated because I couldn't do anything else. It was prob a combo of a growth spurt and just the 2 of us finding out natural nursing rhythm.
On the plus side, her literal nonstop nursing in the evenings turned into her sleeping 6-8 straight hours at night. Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum |

So normal!! With my first two, thats when I gave up :0( between 3-4 weeks. It's so so hard, but w DS #3, I stuck with it (with lots of lanolin haha!) and am sooo happy bc it's a breeze now :0)
Hang in there!! It's worth it! And look at the bright side, you'll be an awesome one handed eater :0) haha! |

Re: CONSTANT Eating - When will it end?
3 week is a growth spurt. My son is just a frequent eater all the way. A bit better now, he is almost 20 month. Yes, I haven't slept well for the past 2 years!

Yup my DS did that too at around 3 weeks. I couldn't go anywhere...not even shower. Now my son is 7 weeks and he has slowed down a lot. It actually feels strange not nursing so much now. He went 8 hrs at night the other day. He also gained more than 2.5lbs between 3weeks and 6 weeks. It was a MAJOR growth spurt for him. Now he is 7 weeks old and nearly 13 lbs!
