We don't have cable, so we don't watch it. But, we mostly only watch the old live action Doodlebops, Barney, and Disney movies in our house.

The main favorite here now is Wild Krats.
I'm glad we don't have cable if they are coming up with crazy shows like Adventure time sounds like.
Do they really say don't look at our crotches while we check our watches? That would have been picked up immediately by Dd and repeated in the most inconvenient places
I should do that with her sometime, play May I Have a Word. That would be a good one for her.

I know, they totally messed up the line up now that school is back in session. My one friend has a digital TV and gets three PBS stations. Two of them don't even play kids' stuff during the day but mommy craft type stuff. Boo. At least that's not the case with the one we watch but still, no Word Girl.

No, just because I find it to be really weird and I don't like watching it We're definitely NOT picky about what our kids watch though, one of my 5year old's fav shows is Family Guy I just try to avoid stuff that DH & I don't really like, and Adventure Time and Regular Show happen to be on that list.

Voted yes in honor of nanny kid. He loves it. I love that it's actually creative and different. We've watched since the beginning, he was 6.

Um, yeah. I let them watch it. They have cable in their playroom now. It's pretty inappropriate, but they don't "get" those parts. Same with Regular Show. Both, I believe, are evidence of my generation being exposed to an excess of A) too many drugs and B)too much Ren and Stimpy.

Re: Do you allow your kids to watch Adventure Time?

I kind of Adventure Time and my kids and I watch it together sometimes . I especially love the one where they put Princess Bubblegum back together but they only have enough "gum" to make her 13 again . I also am anxious to see Fiona and Cake! The kids and I frequently talk like Lumpy Space Princess (because, um, how funny?!). We also like Regular Show and Fish Hooks. I echo PP who said the creativity is admirable ...
Can I also add that on Regular Show I have never laughed so hard as when "Hangin' Tough" started playing in the background of one of the episodes?! LOL!

We mainly stick to Nick Jr. or PBS here and there are some shows on those channels that I don't let my kids watch too.
Pretty much this.
