giving in

I can't take the puking anymore. Haven't really been able to keep anything down for 24 hours, so I'm resorting to meds. I didn't want to, but i'm not stupid. It's not going to get any better. I had hyperemesis with both my other babies, and hoped this one would be different, but it's not. But my problem i'm finding is none of the OB's will see me knowing i'm having a home birth. So i'm going to urgent care in hopes of getting someone to help me. Wish me luck ladies.

I wouldn't tell them you are having a homebirth.

UH that makes me so mad!! Why would it make a difference where you're birthing EIGHT MONTHS from now when you need help today.

Re: giving in

That is so hard. I'd be jumping for joy over meds at that point if they helped stop the vomiting.

OB's are so dumb if they are refusing to help someone who will be giving birth in months, it's not like it's tomorrow.

Re: giving in

Yikes, why do they need to know you are home birthing?

Re: giving in

No one would help me there either. Just wanted to send me to the ER. So I guess my choice is to go to the ER. Awesome...
