DS 5.5 mo, going for a night away HELP

Hi all Looking for some advice. I'm going for a night away with my DH this weekend, and my 5.5 month old will be staying with my mom. He takes a bottle quite readily. We'll be dropping him off in the morning and then picking him up the following evening.. so we'd be separated for ~36 hours...that's the plan anyway. Do you think he would wean? Or would he still remember how to bf? Do you think he would end up preferring the bottle after that? I'm getting a bit nervous about leaving... please help!!

All I can offer is my personal experience, but I was away from my (then) 5.5mo for 5 days, and he didn't wean. He didn't take the breast immediately when I returned, but I was calm and patient (was a little worried initially) and he resumed nursing later that night. 13months and going strong we had a weekend away a few weeks ago and he nursed as soon as I returned.
