My breasts and nipples get SO dry. The left is actually chapped. I use lanolin on my nipples but it doesn't seem to help. Is there a lotion that I can use that is safe for a nursing baby? Or something other than lanolin?

Maybe olive oil or coconut oil?

I have used coconut oil its safe for baby and good for dry skin

Thanks - I think I'll try coconut oil. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

I use regular lotion and am just careful to keep it away from the nipple and surrounding area.

You could use olive oil for sure or CJs butter is safe for nipples, too, I think.
