Cloth wipes & dying dipes..

So I've decided we're gonna switch to cloth wipes along with our dipes..I can sew & I'd like to make them question is..what material is best for this? I know some use flannel..but I think it's boring & I need a wipe that's gonna last & get the job done! lol..

Also how big do you recommend them to be?

Next question..

I've recently bought some dingy white dipes(that I couldn't tell were so dingy) & I'd like to dye them..I have some that ok to use on a PUL dipe?

I made wipes from flannel (boring, yes, but they work for me! ), and also have some that are cotton terry on one side and flannel on the other. They are about 4"x8". The ones I made are 8"x9" (single ply). You could also use OBV, I suppose, or something with more pile if you want them super fun.

I've HEARD that PUL doesn't dye. I have some white covers that I wanted to dye too, but it didn't sound like the dye would take to the polyester. If other mamas know otherwise, I'd like to know too!
