Re: Don't you just wish

We do offer a 30 day return policy for store credit or cash refund, no restocking fee, BUT you would have to pay the shipping back to us. At least you aren't out all the money if you don't like something. Or maybe there is someone who does demos or a rep in your area for some brands, try google searching it maybe. I feel your pain, that is why I started my store, there was no one within 2 hours who carried any diapers. It is becoming so much more popular in my area now that people can see what the diapers are and get the idea of them in person.

I wish it was like McD in every block, a cloth diapering store! There should be chained cotton babies! But they need to carry more brands!

Re: Don't you just wish

There are actually two stores near me and one has the most amazing inventory. Stuff that I have never actually seen IRL before. The downside is that it is right there and then you actually touch and feel them and then you leave with a bunch of stuff even though you only went in for wipes and wool wash. The have some Sbish longies and I have never been interested in buying some until I actually saw and felt them so yea it can be dangerous.

Have you looked into diaper parties by everything birth? there is probably a rep that lives close to you that will let you see all the diapers

We have NO stores in Montgomery. Almost everyone I meet thinks I'm gross for using cloth diapers!

Re: Don't you just wish

I wish we had lived near one when I was pregnant with DD. We do now, Diaper Junction (and they have an awesome selection), but I've already tried almost everything under the sun so I don't really need to go in there.

Re: Don't you just wish

We have BabyEarth here! (It's an awesome online store, with great prices!) Their warehouse is here in TX, and they have a storefront connected to their warehouse... so if stuff is not on the floor, they just go back and get it for you. This store is HUGE!

They actually just expanded their cloth-diapering section because they said cloth diapering just got so big, which I LOVE! Tee hee. (They also have a cloth diapering class once a month, and that got super popular... which is what made them decide to expand.) They do carry lots of brands too, which is so nice! And I find that every time I go, I see something new. So dangerous that it's only 15 minutes away. LOL.

I do wish there were more stores like this though! I'm thinking that in this economy and the US wanting to be more green... more stores like this will open up everywhere! Or maybe BrU and Target will get smart and start carrying more cloth diapers too.

Sheila, that would be awesome!

Re: Don't you just wish

People come to my house and I show them everything I have, they say its like going shopping before making their purchase!

I SO wish someone had done that for me! It seems like such a pain to buy to try things out and deal with returning them/selling them if you don't like them. And half the time, you end up loving something you hated to start, and hating something you loved from the start!? What's up with that? LOL
