How much wool for NB???

I only have a few PUL NB covers and I have 3 or 4 wool covers/longies. how much do I need. I haven't used cloth on a NB before.

Plus I see so much cute wool, I love it all!!

Re: How much wool for NB???

i had more than i needed i realize now because she's barely worn a lot of her wool (like 1 or 2 times for most of it). we have

4 knitted soakers
3 knitted shorties/capris
2 knitted longer bloomers
7 knit longies
3 interlock pieces (bloomers, wrap, longies)

really though a lot of our wool we'll be able to use for several months because it's stretchy (especially the longies and 2 of the soakers) so while she did wear them as a newborn i think they'll fit her through most of the winter. But my newborns are also decent sized so some of the longies were a bit big but with the drawstringa nd rolling the legs they fit her.

Re: How much wool for NB???

For my girly, it was the first time CD'ing a NB too. I had 3 knit longies, and 4 thirsties covers. For me I just need maybe2 or 3 more covers. I found that would have been perfect for me, but I think you can get away with less. just my :twocents:
I do have more longies for her now that she is bigger, I think I have 6 pairs, cuz she still fits her NB ones. And I have 2 more OTW. I do mostly wool now.

Yeah that is my problem too , I think I might get one more pair, cuz it looks like my fav longies I have ever seen aren't going to get here. Scrappies that would have gone with everything. I guess that means I still get to shop.
