Any Pampered Chef Consultants?

I have a question and I think my local PC is out of town. I sold a new stone on ebay that I had bought some time back but never used. I wrapped it really good and the buyer claims that it was broken on arrival. I was told by a friend that they are guarranted against breakage. Anyone know on this? I don't have the receipt anymore.

They are warrantied for 3 years after purchase. If it's been w/in 3 years I'd suggest contacting your PC consultant when she returns and she can have the new stone shipped to the new owners address... or call PC yourself and see if they'll ship it to the person you bought it for as a "gift" 1-888-OUR-CHEF

No, that's not covered. The guarantee is for the original owner, and it's for breakage during use- not if it breaks in you shipping it to another party. To get it replaced, you'd have to 1) lie and tell them it broke during use, 2) send them a piece of the broken stone, and 3) be within 3 years of purchase date and have the receipt and/or consultant's name.

I REALLY don't think it's PC's job to replace this. I feel bad for you that it broke, but those just aren't the conditions that they will/should replace it.

Ask for pictures to ensure it is indeed the stone you sent that broke and not one they had that they are about to scam you over.


Pampered Chef wouldn't cover something like this when damage was done in shipping through PO unless it was PC who was shipping it to the consumer
