Red face Best disposable for night

Yes, I know this is a cloth diapering forum, but don't shoot me!

I am a huge cloth diapering fan, but we're going on a 5-day trip, flying across country, I won't have access to a washer, I do NOT want to fly home with a suitcase full of dirty diapers (that would put it over the 50-pound limit, I'm sure ), and I'm using the time while we're gone to send away my shells to get converted to snaps. So I need to use disposables while we're on this trip!

I bought Costco's brand for day, but my DD is a heavy wetter and a stomach/side sleeper, so I need something better for night. We use Sbish magic fitteds, and they work so well, but I'm totally unaware of who makes good nighttime sposies. Anyone know?

Re: Best disposable for night

We tried different night time diapers & had the best luck with Target's up & up brand. Surprisingly. Also we sized up for night.

Kirkland (costco brand) is like Huggies diapers....so if they fit him nicely, I second the PP who suggested Huggies night time diapers. LOVE my huggies when not using cloth! Super absorbant for my super wetter!

My favorite disposable diaper is Nature Babycare. We bought them at diapers.com or Babies R Us. I agree that Huggies overnight diapers are very absorbent, but I usually had to throw several from each package away because they had hard lumps in them. It seemed like the absorbing crystals in them would clump together and form sharp hard lumps. That did not seem very comfortable to me. We also had problems with Huggies leaving either the dry crystals or gel on my LO's skin.

I second the nature Babycare. Loved those. They seemed a bit more breathable.

Re: Best disposable for night

for a super soaker disposable, go with Huggies Overnights. They start in size 3 and go up. Used them with my two oldest (first wasn't CD'd, second I could not find a cloth night-time solution).

Re: Best disposable for night

Before I found a CD night solution I used Huggies Overnights. THey hold a ton. I have a side sleeping heavy wetter too. I like Natures Babycare on the rare occasion that I need a disposable but they won't make it overnight.

Guess I'm the only one who doesn't like Huggies. We use pampers extra protection for night time. DS is a side/belly sleeper.
