Can I use this a ''flat"??

I have a few dozens gerber diapers/burp cloths. They are perfect squares, 27x27.
Is that that flats everyone's talking about?? (I'm really clueless...)

yep, that's perfect to use as a flat. 27x27 is a standard size. Now to figure out which folds you like best!

Have they been washed yet? When I bought the gerber brand they shrunk BIG TIME! There's not way I could use them on my toddler! But mine aren't a perfect square, so what you have might be different! I just use mine as doublers!

After you wash a dry they become more like a rectangle. I used them with no problems pad folded on an 18 month old. They would be a good size for newborns!

Padfolded is it as absorbent as a prefold?

I don't think so, not with the Gerber flats. Gerber flats are really thin, they only lasted us about an hour! But the Osocozy flats are as absorbent as a prefold.
