Question Nursing tops?

Any good suggestions? I'm a bigger/chestier girl.

I saw a good deal or two from Old Navy today but the reviews were awful on what they had so not even worth the discounted prices.

I got a few nursing tanks from Target with the bra built in that I love but those are really only good for being around the house. To wear them out I have to put on an overshirt.

If you want economical, I LOVE LOVE LOVE undercover mama:

You get a few tanks in basic colors, you can wear them with any nursing bra you want, and can wear almost any shirt with them! I just got black and cream and that's all I've needed to turn my whole wardrobe into a nursing wardrobe! They seem a little pricey for just a tank, but I didn't buy ANY other nursing shirts.

Re: Nursing tops?

I second (or third?) the mamas who said undercover mama tanks. You can wear them under anything, and you won't have to undo a nursing bra through a nursing shirt opening (hard!)

Re: Nursing tops?

I also have issues finding affordable nursing shirts. Almost impossible to find long sleeve nursing shirts at a decent price.

Once it turns into sweatshirt/sweater season (most of the year around here) I love my old t-shirt trick. Take an old shirt (I use a "fitted" short sleeve t-shirt in a solid color). As long as the neckline still looks decent it doesn't matter if it had stains or whatever.
Then you can cut vertical slits in the t-shirt and wear your sweater over it. Make the slits slightly off to the sides to lessen the chance of the slit part (or your different color bra) showing through your sweater. The slits will not unravel and won't "roll" if they are vertical. One slit in the center works ok too.
It's a great way to "recycle" an old shirt. I have several now in various colors to layer under my sweaters.
Just don't forget and take your sweater off - LOL! I only did that once....

I do something similar to this, but I just use plain 'ol tank tops that I got for $6 each at target. I have black, navy, white and gray then I just put one under whatever shirt I am wearing that day and when I need to nurse I just lift the shirt and pull the tank down under my bra. This works great and who cares if it stretches out the tank...I only use it to nurse anyway. And it's really cheap!
