Tell me if this is right, I have heard you can soak longies that are scratchy in conditioner? How do you do that? What is the routine with that and washing, and lanolizing....

Have you washed them just with wool wash? Sometimes that will soften them up. But with conditioner usually you just add some to some room temp water and gently kinda massage it into the longies (do not agitate just work it in a little bit) then leave them for a few hrs (some leave it overnight) then I would drain the water, fill the sink again with the same temp water (or they will felt) and let them sit for a minute then drain out the water (leave the longies in the sink so the water will run through them helping to rinse the conditioner out) and do that a few times then lanolize and dry. Hopefully that will help soften them. I hope someone else chimes in, I haven't had to do this much.
