Sibling and hair questions (pic heavy)

Okay, I've got a couple of totally separate questions but I'm using the same pictures for both so figured I'd combine them...

First, I keep getting asked if my kids are twins. It's happened enough now that I'm not really shocked by it, but the first time it really caught me off guard. My son is about to turn 2 and my daughter is 4! I think the first time someone asked, I actually laughed because I thought it was a joke.

What do you guys think?

you can see the size difference...

Second question, should we cut DS's hair? We both love long hair on little boys and planned on letting his grow, but it's just ALWAYS in his face! It is finally starting to swoosh to the side a bit, but he's still constantly pushing it out of his face.

Definitely can tell yet are siblings, but I wouldn't think twins.

As for haircut, I personally prefer short on boys but I do wait until after their 1st birthday to cut it so my older 2 did have some curls in the back. Do you think you could manage a quick trim? It is cute on him and if you like it long, at least just cut it enough to get it out of his face.

Gorgeous kids though!

No way would I think them twins.

As for the hair, I don't know. It is really cute, but if it's bothering him by being in his face, maybe it's time for a cut.

We let DS rock the shaggy look until he was 4 but never let it hang in his eyes like that. We always kept it short enough in the front so it wasn't in his face.

I can't just cut the front though...I think it will look weird on him. So it's either cut it all or leave it.

I think he is adorable! But I agree if you decide to cut his hair it needs to be all around- not just the front. I'm not a fan of that look- the grown out bowl cut look, lol

They look nothing like twins. I would cut his hair. I think it is probably a burden to him.

Re: Sibling and hair questions (pic heavy)

I can totally tell they're siblings, but wouldn't think they were twins. If they were closer in size, maybe. I think it's mostly that they have the same hair!

If it's bothering him and always in his eyes/face...yeah, I'd probably get it cut. But it's soo cute. Maybe a stylist could figure out how to layer his bangs so that they weren't in his eyes but still long?

I can tell they're siblings, but I don't think they look like twins. We get the same thing with our two oldest (4.5 and 2.5). Not so much now, but when they were around 3 and 1.

And if it's bothering him, I would cut it. But if it's not and you guys like it, I'd leave it for now.

Re: Sibling and hair questions (pic heavy)

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks they are obviously not twins. Granted, they are usually sitting in a shopping cart when we get these comments, but you can still tell they are different sizes.

About his hair, it is in his face a good bit, and he pushes it alot, BUT he really doesn't seem to be annoyed by it. When he was born, I had the intention of letting it grow at least until he turned 2 (which is in less than a month), so I guess we'll decide if we want to do it on his birthday...I'm still not sure which way I'm leaning.
