Re: TRIM! :Alva POST YOUR ACTION SHOTS! "S" Series Picture #331!

I just ordered pretty much 1 of each type, besides newborn, I'll get those on the next co-op. But I got a bamboo diaper, print diaper, minky diaper, and double gusset diaper. I will post comparison pics with my friend's (mercyscreation) kids who are almost 1 month, 2.5 years old, and 6 years old when I get them. But they will take 6+ weeks to get here tho, so the newb won't be such a newb anymore.

I just ordered 5 more of these because we love them so much. Great diaper at a great price. I was able to order 5 for the price of 1 of my more expensive diapers. LOVE!

We need more action shots, especially of the DG (Double gusset)/S series diapers!

Re: TRIM! :Alva POST YOUR ACTION SHOTS! "S" Series Picture #331!

I just got my Alvas. The sole purpose of me trying the diaper on my friend's kids and taking pics was to share them so others could see the different fits!

All together-

6.5 week old. 10 lbs and using the normal 3 layer bamboo insert in every diaper.

Bamboo inner Alva. Loose around the legs.

Minky outer Alva. High rise but tight around the legs and trim.

Double Gusset/4.0 Alva. LOVE this diaper!

2.5 year old, 27 lbs. Using the 4 layer bamboo/microfiber blend insert in every diaper.

Bamboo inner Alva-

Minky outer Alva-

Double Gusset Alva-

6 years old, 41 lbs. I only tried the Double Gusset because we needed to leave and I didn't have time. She was at the max for it. I didn't snap it correctly, so it's off center. I should have loosened it one set of snaps on one side, and tightened it on the other. Didn't notice til I got home and saw the pics again. Oh well! You can still see the fit. Nice booty coverage!

Re: TRIM! :Alva POST YOUR ACTION SHOTS! "S" Series Picture #331!

awesome comparison shots mama how nice of you to do it. I do see that the double gusset alvas are the way to go if u want them to last for a larger/older child as they have the 4 row rise and get bigger than the normal alvas. My kids run small so i doubt i will get to the biggest settings before pt-ing. I second the awesome sc! I use all those 'boy' prints on my daughter too they are way too cute! they have such super cute prints and cant beat the price. They have even more new prints now. soooooooooooo tempted!!!

Which insert would absorb more? The 3 layer bamboo or the 4 layer bamboo/mf blend? Is the 4 layer still more trim than a regular mf insert?
