My husband left over 4 years ago. I've been single long enough that usually it doesn't phase me but sometimes I really hate that my future will be alone. I have a boyfriend but it will never be a committed relationship. I have to live where my ex is so we can share custody. I'm not horrible looking but I am in my 30s with a special needs son. The only guys interested in me are ones that I would not have around my boys. I realize there is a small chance I will meet someone but I'm way past hoping for it. Now that I'm done whining I will remember all that I have to be grateful for...

Everyone has and deserves a pity party from time to time! Mine normally involve cookie dough

I agree, you never know what may happen. Don't give up hope! 30s is still young!

Hugs to you! I have my own lil pitty party once in a while too.
I just look at my daughter and remind myself how lucky I am. I'd rather be single then be in an abusive relationship. I thank God that I had the courage to walkout when I did.

I had a very very similar pity party this past week. 30, single, 3 kids, husband left 4 years ago, not dating, staring down the barrel of a long empty life, crazy cat lady????

I only have 1 cat so far! I think what really sucks is I loved my married life, I was pretty dang happy, right until he said he wasn't.
