ok if the Original payment was

Amount received: $10.50 USD
Fee amount: -$0.60 USD
Net amount: $9.90 USD

how do i do this refund right? so im not paying fees?

I think if you refund $10.20, you wouldn't be out anything due to fees.

I have a business account, so I am confused about the refund thing. I have always just clicked on the refund tab, checked refund all, and it all got sent back with no fee taken away. In fact, I was always credited back my fee. Is this a new thing?

I was wondering the same thing as I've never seen this happen before, but then again I haven't had to do a full refund in awhile...

also curious about the other thread reporting the shipping module is all different now! I haven't seen that either and I just shipped something... strange...

I have a business account too, but haven't had to do a refund in years.

I do remember several months ago, maybe a year even, getting the notice of Paypal's policy change that they were going to be charging/keeping a fee for refunds.

I think they are moving toward functioning more like a merchant account service even for individuals and small personal purchase transactions.
