Pocket Diapers- Bunched up insert
Sometimes we get leaks with our pocket diapers. I finally figured out the problem. It's when the insert gets bunched up. This NEVER happens at night- she goes 12 hours, no problem with just double-stuff MF or 1 MF and 1 hemp, and the entire insert is wet but it's not bunched and no leaks. In the day, she must move enough that the insert gets bunched in around the area where she pees- so the back of the MF (or MF and hemp if I stuff with both) isn't wet, but the PUL gets wet because the MF isn't completely covering it.
Any suggestions?

Re: Pocket Diapers- Bunched up insert
Is the diaper on nice and snug? If there is a lot of 'play' room then the insert will move. Also make sure the insert fits in the pocket well, if it is too small it will bunch up, and keep it as flat as you can while putting the diaper on her
![]() With my wiggly toddler it is sometimes a royal pain to keep the diaper from bunching up while putting it on him. |
