bloody show or from membrane strip?

yesterday i had a membrane strip 40w 5 days...i had a little pink in some mucous and that was it. today this morning i had bright red blood mucous that has continued throughout the day with some contractions/cramping.

is this leftover from the membrane strip you think or is it bloody show and an indication that labor might start in next few days?

going tomorrow for NST 41weeks and will be scheduled for an induction, which i really was hoping to avoid....

Could go ethier way. My guess is bloody show. I have only had a little after a strip. (like 1wipe).

Not to be a buzzkill, but I had a full day of bright bleeding and cramping after an internal check (not even a sweep) at 37 weeks with my #3 baby. I felt lousy from it all day. Never bled after any other checks with any other pregnancies. I called ad talked with a nurse - it's "normal".
Baby stayed in until 39 weeks, so it was probably just a more sensitive area of my cervix that got too jostled.
I hope you go soon though, If that's what you want!
