Re: delayed vaxers

I am never having my boys get the chicken pox one. We'll get a philosophical exemption. Many conservative-type doctors I have spoken to while interviewing pedis were very concerned about how long the vaccine will last. Potentially, the vaccine could give out when the recipients are 60 when people become far more vunerable to disease. So it could be what kills them. I hope they just catch it naturally.

I also delay Hep B because there is no good reason to give it to an infant. It's a disease that is contracted through adult behaviors. It can wait.

I vax on time for everything else.

Re: delayed vaxers

My kids only get diphtheria, polio, pertussis, HiB and I waited until 6 months to start them 2 months seemed way too tiny. And I believe they routinely start at 6 mo in the UK.
