Re: 2 year olds taking off diapers

Clarification - I have 2 girls that share a room and they both are doing it. I do put clothes on them for nap and bedtime, but they can take them off. I put diapers on backwards and they still got them off (they can help each other so not sure if they are able to get them off by themselves or had help from the other). I will try the footed pj's on backwards, but like I said they can help each other so I'm worried that they might just help each other unzip pj's. Will try it at nap today and see...
Anyone else have 2 share a room and do this? Other suggestions?
Also, they are potty-trained except nap/bedtime.

Backwards pj's didn't work! They help each other get them off! *sigh*
Any other ideas?

At least you taught them to be considerate and help each other. I'm sorry, but that made me smile as you hear the issue all the time, but never two that are working together! What smart kids.

mine's doing this too! grrrr....I may have to try the backwards sleeper thing, but would hate to cut the feet, as I want his feet warm for winter. nothing else is working-we're in the same boat!

My dd can get out of anything. It has been too hot for the backward pj's here. I have been dealing with this close to a year and I haven't found anything that helps. She can take off pants or overalls. She has been naked potty learning for 10 months because she refuses to wear diaper.

My SIL's twin girls did this for each other too. I think (from my experience) that girls hate diapers more. My boys never cared and wore diapers right up until potty training. My dd is soooo hard to train.

My oldest (almost 28months) can get his diaper off regardless, as well. I am starting pottying this week.

me too. I totally smiled/chuckled when I read that. I knkow it's probably really frustrating cleaning up after them but geez that's adorable. Have you tried duct taping on a disposable? I know you'd probably prefer cloth but desperate times and all.
