Baby Kilt
So friends of mine are getting married at a Ren Faire this weekend. Since daddy will be wearing one of these http://www.utilikilts.com/ I thought my little guy needed something to match.

Oh man I so wish I had a boy! My hubby has a Utilikilt and he LOVES it. He could get away with wearing it regularly when we lived in San Diego (we're natives) but Texas, notsomuch. A wee bit to square around he for it.
I love the way that one turned out, doesn't look like a skirt at all!

Girls can wear kilts, they just have more pleats
 Did you use a pattern, or just wing it? I wanted to make one for my little guy for the Scottish Games, but we can't go this year so maybe in the spring.
