Re: Confessions

Aw, I was just thinking how nice it is that we can even have a thread like this in our little group. Too often DS has too many judgmental people jumping to conclusions about everything to be able to confess any "bad" behavior. I like our little group of people.

As far as confessions.... I am with everyone on soda, but my drink of choice is Dr Pepper. I usually have one every morning. And I tend to drink IBC cream soda at night, if we can afford it. And lots of decaf sweet tea (but is that bad?).

My major thing is not eating ENOUGH and the things I do eat are hardly quality protein. Amazingly I'm still gaining weight, but I'm told DH I'm not sure HOW. I barely eat anything. Too much work.

Oh, and the clean house, pshaw. If my kids have clean CLOTHES I'm happy.

this is the first DDC I ever been in and I'm so glad to hear that! I remember the wine thread a little while ago, even though there were people who didn't agree it didn't get nasty or anything. I totally agree with you

I agree! I personally am too tired to care what people think of what I do, or to care much about what other people do (provided there is no neglect/abuse happening).

I use to worry about it a lot and I was in a SUPER crunchy AP playgroup where everyone brought stainless steel containers, their kids all wore organic clothing/wool, they fed their kids raw foods and BF'd to 4 years old, etc.... Then we started having MNO and the ladies would be drinking a little alcohol and all sorts of "confessions" starting popping out like "I use sposies at night" or "I've tried CIO" or "I sometimes eat McDonald's"... It was funny actually and we all realized we had been tiptoeing around for fear of "banishment" when really we were all the same, just moms trying to do right by their kids, not perfect but oh well! Lol.

Actually, I am right there with you! Minus the coldcuts/seafood, but mostly cause I just don't like those things to begin with.

Yum! I really wanted to stop by Sonic this morning for a rootbeer float but I convinced myself not to because it was only 9am. However, I have not talked myself out of going there this afternoon after I get the girls from school.
