Stupid Harness Straps!

I CAN NOT STAND them! I just moved DS to his Complete Air 65 and i HATE the Harness straps! I can not get them to tighten enough on him. No matter how much i tighten them the strap covers get in the way . Also the crotch strap is SOOOOOO long , I have looked and looked and can not find a way to make it shorter.
Any one have any suggestions?

I wish he was still in his Roundabout 50 (But he weights 35 with his shoes on)

You'll have to read the manual but you should be able to remove the shoulder harness covers (my ds hates them and take them off his seat) the crotch strap may just be a lot different from the Britax seat and take some getting used to!

Good luck!

You would have to remove the straps (read the manual on how to do that) then slide off the harness covers if you aren't going to reuse them you could cut them.

Re: Stupid Harness Straps!

Britax does have a pretty short crotch straps compared to all the other brands I have seen.

The harness strap covers are not removable on the Complete Air.

They should not get in the way of tightening the straps, however.

No i can't I wish i could! I have had for about 6 months and have been using it for my nephew (FF) It works fine for a ff and the harness coves do not get in the way ff. I do not know what the deal is rear facing.

I bought it knowing that ds was going to use it AFTER he out grew the roundabout 50 rf . I needed a seat with a tall shell for my nephew to use , so i thought the complete air 65 would be perfect.
