I agree with the others about putting a mattress or something in her room if you think that will work for you. When my dh gets going about DJ cosleeping, I tell him that as long as he wants to take care of him, he's welcome to put him wherever he wants...if I'm taking care of him, I'm going to put him where I want. So if he wants to spend a couple of hours trying to get him to sleep in his crib only to be awakened a couple of hours later to do it all again, that's fine with me...he's not going to be left to CIO and dh is not to wake me up to take care of him (I work full time just like he does). Seems kind of silly to go through all that when he takes 5 minutes to fall asleep in our bed and for the most part sleeps all through the night, but hey, if it's that big of a problem for dh, he's welcome to do what he wants! Once or twice when DJ was particularly fidgety, dh has moved him into the crib during the night but for the most part, he's too lazy to deal with it so he just goes with the flow.
