Re: Full moon baby hopefuls...

Oh goodness, I sure hope the full moon does the trick. Not feeling much different though. Today is even Dh's 40th birthday. What a present that would be.

I think I'm the only one NOT hoping the full moon works. We're still dealing with the stomach virus (over a week now) and I am not ready.

My mom guilted me. She said I can't have him until she gets here, Sunday or early next week. I'm kinda hoping he's a full moon baby and now I'm kinda hoping he's not just because of my mother.

Re: Full moon baby hopefuls...

I read somewhere that more mamas have BH during a full moon but aren't actually in labor. And most mamas that go into labor after their water breaks have their babys on full moons.

We shall see.....

I've had a slow trickle all day of what seems to be fluid. No contractions though. Sitting on the birth ball now. Getting frustrated!!!

I've had contractions all day, that seem to be getting stronger, but no trickle or anything except my "usual" discharge. Nothing to indicate it's labor and not some overly excited BH. Equally as frustrating! Put us together and maybe we'll get a baby, ha!

I thought maybe it would help me out, but nothing so far. Worked 10 hours, watching movies with my son. No signs.

Re: Full moon baby hopefuls...

I guess I should correct myself, tis is more than a trickle, it's more like random gushes mixed with slow trickle..

I'm hoping not, myself. I have a cold and my allergies are being nasty because they cut the grass today (I HATE Tuesdays) and we have a few last minute things we can't take care of until Monday. So anytime after 1 week from today I will be very happy with. I won't complain if it happens tonight, but the requested time would be fabulous.

Re: Full moon baby hopefuls...

I'm also hoping not...midwife is out of town for the next six days (until my due date). We need two midwives to birth at home. Otherwise, we go in to the hospital with the secondary midwife that we don't really know all that well. Not my idea of ideal.

That said, I'm getting BH ctrx pretty steadily. But then again, I've had bouts of steady ctrx for almost 3 weeks now. >twitchy eyes<
