How can I tell if DS still has tongue thrust or not?
I keep reading about lack of tongue thrust being an indicator that a child is ready for solids, but without giving solids, how can you tell?

More obvious indicators are when your child is staring at your food, trying to steal from your plate and sitting up relatively on their own.
As for tongue thrust, I'd just offer them solids (provided the other indicators are present) and see.
