What do you still need/want/dream of...

for your Marchkin?

I'm thinking the bigger stuff... but I am a huge list-maker so this will help me to sort out what I need yet.

My Marchkin still needs:
crib
baby bathtub
MyRide 65 (for after baby outgrows the bucket seat)

I want...
a bouncy seat/swing combo (I have a swing but a combo would be nice for my small living room)

I dream of...
baby's own room! but I know that's not going to happen anytime soon!

They have the Preston MR65 for 100 right now at Target!! It's pretty GN too....

I want but don't really need a new crib. Got ours at a consignment sale and don't really like it...

Will need a convertible eventually too, borrowing sil's bucket seat until then.

Dream of...idk yet.

I haven't bought anything yet except for one sleep sack I came across at Goodwill.

We still want/need:
Cybex Aton carseat
A swing and/or bouncy seat
Clothes, which I'll probably buy 99% of on Black Friday
Some of the basics we didn't keep from DS like a snot sucker, some cotton mittens, maybe a pacifier or two if this one will take 'em, etc
Swaddling blankets
Nursing essentials; nursing pads, lanolin, nipple shields for 3am feeding with bleeding nipples,
A bottle or two in case of emergency

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Ahh I want one too - this one with drawers instead of shelves. My changing table has been broken for almost a year now...But shelves would be so much nicer for cds I think.

Crib should probably be a need instead of want for us - it's an older style drop side, with metal parts - but we're still using it right now.

Am I the only one who doesn't use a changing table??? I never ever ever use mine! I have an amazing solid oak one (HEAVY) with 3 drawers and a door with shelves that turns into just a dresser if you unsnap the changing table part but I never use it... I always changed baby on the floor, or the couch, or the chair, or my lap

My crib was recalled from DS as well and that was way back in 2008/2009 so when I went to return it I just got a giftcard for Target... DS had an amazing wardrobe/Birthday/Christmas that year but that means we HAVE to get a crib as all I have otherwise is a pnp.

I forgot about nursing essentials... see? This is why I made this thread. I didn't get to nurse long with DS (3 weeks) and so I am not sure what I need but I have a pump... things like storage bags (I'm going back to work ft after my 6 weeks) some cream for sore nipples, bottles for daycare...

I never had one with DS and I never felt like I was missing out. It's much easier, to me, to lay a blanket on the couch or bed, or wherever we are, for a change.
We spend all of our waking hours downstairs and there isn't anywhere down here that I'd want to keep an extra piece of furniture, and no way in heck am I hauling baby and myself upstairs 12+ times a day.
