Help me name my baby! Middle name needed :)

Well now that we have the adoption paperwork rolling, we have to get going on picking a middle name!

The name we had picked out for our daughter was Claudia. However, in the three days she spent in the hospital they were calling her Amira (pronounced Uh-Me-Rah) which means princess. It was such a cute story and the name really grew on us so we decided to keep it.

So now we have to pick a middle name!
She (and I) are of hispanic heritage, so it would be nice to have a name that reflected that, but certainly its not neccesary.

So what do you guys think? So far I am concidering Isabella and Grace. I am open to suggestions too!

I like Amira Grace, it's not as much of a mouthful, yk? But, I'm also biased because it's Hannah's middle name.

I wanted to add that it also depends on your last name. If you have a one syllable last name then Amira Isabella sounds better than Amira Grace Smith (for example). We have a two syllable last name, so Hannah Grace works well with it.

I love Isabella (I would have named a daughter that, but DH's cousin got it first, LOL). I think with Amira (beautiful name by the way!!) Grace sounds better to me. I agree it does depend on your last name, though!

I voted Grace, I do love the name Isabella, I was going to name my son that if he was a girl-but now all I hear at the stores around here are women saying "Isabella come here"-everyone named their girls that name!

I voted Grace, as I really like the way it sounds with the name Amira. I'm not a big fan of two names together with similiar sounds (like the "a" sound on the end of both Amira and Isabella.) I'd vote for Amira Isabelle, but not Isabella.

Either way, I like that Grace is less common than Isabella OR Isabelle - those have been in the top 10 U.S. Girls names for the past 2 years...

I didn't vote...what a tough choice! I wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS!!! though. What a sweet name. I like both middle names, too, and even though they are both popular, Amira is pretty unique to balance them. It's too bad you can't get Claudia in there somehow, though, if it was your original name. Does Amira Claudia have too many "uh" sounds?

I don't know, there are a lot of Grace's popping up around here. I tried to use Gracie with our third daughter, but my husband put a big fat man in front of the door with that one!

Personally, I'm partial to Isabelle; b/c my 4 yr old has that name. Boy does it fit her too!
