I also went to BC for our amber and will be going back there.. I try and stalk when she opens customs tho.. its a lil more $$ but sooo worth it!! DS needs a new one.. bc i didnt know he couldnt wear it in the pool.. OOOPS!!

I made my own I need to make myself a new one, mine broke.

I buy off of ebay and just make sure the amber is coming from Lithuania or somewhere else near the Baltic sea so that I know it's real amber.

I used the stones guide on Baltic Creations for a reference for other stones to add. My girls have jasper and jade on theirs with small silver pendants. Mine is turquoise and jasper, with a large carnelian agate pendant. Hubby's is mostly hematite with jasper and amber. He wants me to add an elk tooth pendant.

I made a little bracelet/anklet for the baby before I even got pregnant. It's just amber with a silver spacer bead between each one.

And tell you husband that twisting isn't really a problem with wire or the thick nylon cord that BC and others use. My 3 year old has been wearing a necklace since she was 3 months old, my 19 month old has been wearing one since a couple days after she was born. They ignore their necklaces and go for mine instead!

We use Baltic Creations too! We have had 2 necklaces from them and love them both, one is the honey color and the other is dark, both raw and both not round (the chips not sure what they are called)
